


Designed for large-block production with thicknesses up to 1300 mm, ensuring excellent through-hardening homogeneity across the entire section. Exhibits high fracture toughness and dimensional stability, thereby reducing susceptibility to cracking and distortion in large cross-section mould applications.
Suitable for plastic injection moulds and mould components requiring high surface finish, excellent polishability, and uniform texturing response. Ideal for large-size moulds used in the automotive industry, where uniform hardness, good toughness, and stable performance across thick sections are critical.

Soft Annealing: 650–700°C.
Holding time: 2 minutes per mm of thickness.
Cooling: Furnace cooling to 400°C.
Tempering: 500–600°C.
Holding time: Minimum 2 hours per 25 mm thickness.
Double tempering recommended.
Cooling after tempering: Air cooling.
High hardness condition: 38–42 HRC.
Supplied in hardened and tempered condition.
Ready for finish machining, grinding, or EDM (stress relieving recommended after EDM).
