Medium carbon steel with improved strength compared to low carbon grades. Offers a good balance of strength, ductility and machinability. Suitable for heat treatment and provides better wear resistance than lower carbon steels.
Widely used for shafts, axles, forgings, bolts, and general engineering components. Suitable for automotive parts and machinery requiring moderate strength and durability.
