Chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy steel designed for nitriding applications. Offers high strength, excellent fatigue resistance and superior wear resistance after nitriding. Exhibits good dimensional stability during heat treatment and nitriding, with a tough core and hard surface layer.
Widely used for nitrided components such as shafts, gears, crankshafts, connecting rods, and extrusion tools. Suitable for automotive, aerospace and heavy engineering applications requiring high surface hardness and fatigue strength.
