


High-carbon, high-chromium cold work tool steel with very high wear resistance and excellent compressive strength. Offers superior edge retention due to high carbide content and maintains good dimensional stability after heat treatment.
Used for high wear-resistant cold-work dies and tools including blanking dies, punching dies, thread rolling dies, shear blades, cold extrusion tools, gauges and precision cutting applications requiring long service life and high abrasion resistance.

Furnace cooling to 760–780℃ isothermal
Air-cooled furnace cooling to 400℃
